Depth. Presence. Healing.
I support sensitive, high-achieving, and courageous individuals through somatic and integrative psychotherapy. I’m so glad you’re here.
Welcome, - I’m Michelle…
I have been a Licensed Psychologist for over 20 years. While I am trained in a variety of therapeutic modalities, my work today primarily integrates Somatic Experiencing and Internal Family Systems to support deep, embodied healing. When clinically appropriate, I also incorporate NeuroAffective Touch and Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy to facilitate reconnection, regulation, and lasting change.
One of my core strengths is pattern recognition. I use this skill to help identify both the blocks that may be keeping you stuck and the internal and external resources that may be present but overlooked. Together, we can gently bring awareness to these patterns and create space for new possibilities.
I am especially drawn to working with people who have a heart for helping others including therapists, teachers, healers, medical professionals, and veterans. I am deeply passionate about supporting individuals navigating anxiety, depression, chronic pain, life transitions, anger, and those who identify as highly sensitive or neurodivergent.
I would be honored to learn more about you and explore how I can support you on your healing journey.
Areas of Expertise
My therapeutic approach draws from a variety of evidence-based and experiential methods that support the body, mind, and spirit.
-
Somatic Experiencing is a body-based approach to healing trauma and stress. Rather than focusing solely on thoughts or memories, SE helps you tune into your body’s natural rhythms and sensations to release stored survival energy and restore a sense of safety and regulation. It supports greater resilience, calm, and connection to self.
-
NeuroAffective Touch integrates the wisdom of the body with gentle, attuned touch to support emotional and nervous system healing. This approach acknowledges that early experiences of connection—or lack thereof—are imprinted in the body. NAT helps reestablish safety, trust, and self-compassion through mindful, therapeutic touch and presence.
-
Internal Family Systems helps you understand and heal the different “parts” within you—such as the inner critic, the protector, or the wounded child. By bringing compassionate awareness to these inner dynamics, you can access your core Self: the calm, wise, and centered presence that leads your healing journey.
-
Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy combines the therapeutic benefits of ketamine with guided psychotherapy in a safe, supportive setting. This process can help soften rigid patterns, deepen self-understanding, and open new pathways for healing from depression, trauma, and existential distress. All KAP sessions are carefully tailored to your needs and integrated with ongoing therapeutic support.
